Domestic Business Group acts as the interface to the firm’s clients in China, including the clients and associates from Taiwan.

The Group is privileged in having four most experienced patent attorneys who started to practiced patent since 1985 when China’s first Patent Law was enacted.

The Group works closely with other Groups of the firm in serving a large base of domestic clients represented by more than 50 research institutes under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, ICBC as the largest commercial bank in China, and many other leading companies from the industries in China, in building their patent portfolios and setting their IP strategies for both offensive and defensive purposes. With the rapidly increasing IP awareness of the industry in China at various levels from market leader companies, to SME, to R&D organizations and even individuals, the Group foresees significant growth of the business.
